OK lets stop the fighting, let the teams do that on the field! On another subject, I want to ask all the regs if anything like what has happened to me, has happened anywhere else. As most of you know, I live in Georgia, 1 hour north of Atlanta. I work across the street from that Falcons training complex. I have been a dolphin fan my whole life, and they dont coem to Gerogia, but every 9 years or so. So I have been checing Atlantafalcons.com for the past 2 months to see when the tickets for the sept 13th game with the Dolphins at teh GA dome went on sale. I wanted to be between the 40 yard lines, on the visitors sideline. Those seats were advertised, on AtlantaFalcons.com at $170 a piece. Expensive, but I was willing to pay that for 1 ticket. I am not rich! I found out, trh tickets went on sale saturday, aug, 1st. at 10 am. I could buy a ticket through the website. I was on the website right at 9:50 am, to make sure I didnt miss my chance. They had a few tickets in the location I had been looking at for the past 2 months. But get this, NOW THEY WERE $295!!!!!!! I didnt buy one of those. I didnt have THAT much money, and had I have KNOWN that, I may have had it. That is FALSE Advertising, if you ask me. I did get a ticket, for $161, plus charges, 34 rows back FALCONS sidleline, on the 20 yard line. Good enough seat, but not the one I wanted. My question is, do the dolphins, or any other NFL team pull that False advertising BS like the Falcons just did? I thought Arthir Blank had more class than that, but thats just a classless thing to do. IMO I hope the dolphins kick their buts. Maybe, there will be more DOLHPIN fans there, just like the LAST time the dolphins played at the Ga dome in 1998! (Aug 12, 2009 | post #1654)

NO college team, plays against NFL caliber defenses! We can use that same argument on Mark Sanchez, USC didn't play against ANYTHING CLOSE to an NFL caliber defense! I think that using Pat White will make the wildcat more unpredictable to a point. Defenses will know what we are going to run the wildcat when they see us run him onto the field, and Chad off the field. TI would be more effective if Pat White could beat out Chad Henne for the future starter. That way, he is the full time QB, and there would be no need for substitutions to run the wildcat. As it stands now, the defense will have a little more time to prepare for it, as they will see Chad P running off the field, while Pat White running on it! (Aug 5, 2009 | post #1266)

We sure don't know for sure who will be good, till they play. I think Sanchez is under A LOT of pressure,. because of how Matt Ryan, and Joe Flacco performed their rookie years. I personally think Flacco and Ryan's rookie years are aberrations, not the rule. Most 1st year QB's thrown under the fire wont have that kind of success. We will see. As far as Francour? I didn't like his approach. The guy can throw anyone out, which makes me wonder why the BRAVES of all teams, RAN on him! I think he needed to get out of Atlanta. I think he was trying to do to much in his hometown, trying to be the HERO every at bat, like he seemed to be in his High School at Parkview HS.. ( that high school is maybe 40 minute drive from Turner Field. I have been by it.) Although he had gotten hot before the trade, that series with the braves, he looks better, and the BAD side that I don't like is, EX BRAVES batters always seem to KILL the braves. Greg, You are sounding much like a JETS fan, over an NFL fan. I know , that a JETS fan wont ever show respect to a DOLPHINS fan, the repect he truly has for what the dolphins accomplished, but, to say th JETS turn around was better? I think you would have to go back father than 1 year then. Jets record in 2007 was 4-12, , you are right. Dolphins was 1-15. But what was the jets record in 2006? 10-6 right? Were they NOT expected to be a good team in 2007? Point being, the JETS had somewhat of a foundation ALready laid for the 2008 season. Same Coaching staff, new HIgh Prices aquisitions. Dolphins had Cleaned house, YET AGAIN. But now you are here saying the JETS tirnaround for 07 to 08 was better? And the Dolhins div title was meaningless , compared to the JETS season? I mean COMON dude, WHO ELSE othwer than another JETS fan would agree with you? Tell us all, what NON Dolphins, or JETS fan would actually think that the jets going from 4-12, to 9-7, was actually BETTER than the Dolphins going from 1-15, to 11-5! Because, THAT is what you are implying with this post. Why. you know, Living in FALCONS territory, I hear a bit more of a totasly unbiased veiw of the JETS /Fins Rivalry. Greg, Thanks for helping me make my point! Sparano was a rookie last year, just as Rex Ryan is this year. Only differance is, us phin fans were NOT talking as if we had already won the season at this time LAST year, liek JET FAN is. Sparano PROVED himself. Rex Ryan has yet to, but talks as if he has more rings than Belicheat! Again, until the JETS do something, they shouldnt be running at the mouth. by the way, it is ATHLONs football magazine, that predicts a 2nd place finish for the Dolphins, 4th for the jets. They have niether making the playoffs. Ahheeem. Let me clear my throat for this one. Lets brig up a coaches pedagree for a sec. Rex Ryan was a great Defencive Coordinator, just like his Daddy.
