FCC's fine against CBS for halftime show nudity tossed
Amazing. The stupid knee-jerk reactionary FCC and both Republicans and Democrats pandered to enact "tough" penalties to protect our children from human nudity and the morons made laws that were unconstitutional. Hooray for our government in action! Once again, it's okay to invade a country that didn't pose a threat, but if you show fleeting female nudity, without showing a nipple, you need to circle the wagons to preserve our nation. ugh (Jul 22, 2008 | post #2)

FINALLY a politician who makes sense. Those Jersey teams would stop trying to pass themselves off as NY teams. They abandon NY so long ago, only middle age fans can recall seeing a Giants' game in NY. Let's hope the NFL stops the garbage and makes teams reflect the STATE if not the city they play in. Circumcision is wrong. There is no way cutting off skin brings you closer to God or makes you cleaner. We **** . We have evolved a certain way for a reason. There is no reason why this barbarous practice needs to be continued in the 21st century when people have access to clean running water and can bathe. So MADD is upset that a game allows players to "drink" and then "drive" and adjusts the controls so the player can't control the car properly? Let's see, the Supervisor has been in office for 30+ years and runs the town like a kingdom. His choices always seem to win election to the Town Board and he appointed all the dept. heads. I think we'll see Uncle Pat in shackles before too long. He should be for the poor job he's done in preserving Smithtown's natural beauty and allowing building just about anywhere you can squeeze a house on. Can anyone afford to NOT buy gas? How many of us have bosses who would be okay with the whole office staying home to "stick it to the man?"
