First off it does not matter one bit what the victim wants. If a juvenile AGREES to sex with an adult it is the state that prosecutes, the victim has no say in the matter not when they are 13 and not when they are 40. This guy is a crook plain and simly and WE and our laws DO NOT reward anyone who flees to avoid the law. I do not care what it costs put this guy in prison and others may think twice. Even if ONLY 1 person left a juvenile victim alone because this fool goes to court then it will be well worth it. (Oct 6, 2009 | post #12)

Think Tank! You have to be kidding, where is there result for big business like insurance and drug companies and big oil who spend a LOT more money influing politics than any union ever thought of. Why? What a stupid question, the reasons stated are EXACTLY the same that most cities in California are hurting. The difference here is that I read and understand or comprehend and appartanly you do not. AGAIN! Using Vallejo's reasons would apply to many "properly run" cities that have not filed bankruptcy. Re-elect a Vallejo politican! I am still wondering why Vallejo if run so well by anyone is the ONLY city that went into bank ruptcy. Again, the ONLY city! Other cities pay their public safety well, as they should because after all they do risk their lives and have a job that is a bit tougher than working at Walmart. If ALL cities have survived the economy that is now improving WHY did Vallejo go into the toilet. (Oct 1, 2009 | post #13)

To the author you are wasting your time because Vallejo is full of idiots who think cops and fireman who risk thier lives are overpay and should make the same as they do saying HI at Walmart. You deserve what you get but no sense in reading these idiots comments. If you have to get on come about 9am to 3pm when these bozos are in kindergarden class. I see we have a lot of non-informed Repubicans who like to think have done a wonderfull job. Let's see in-addition to starting a war with iraq who had nothing to do with 911 and forgeting about Afganistan who did train the terrorist he managed to Since Bush took office back in 2000 America has lost 400,000 thousand Service jobs to outsourcing, 2.5 million manufacturing jobs and 850,000 professional jobs all encouraged by Bush, Republican Congress and White house via outsourcing, etc. Oh yea, the first thing Bush did was to eliminate Clinton's pay as you go system that kept the debt in control (that's why Clinton's term was in the black), that meant Bush could, and he did, spend as much as he wanted. Give me a guy who wants sex anytime. Bush ignored Shiela Blair (who Iam sure you all know) his director of FDIC who told him LONG before the housing crisis that subprime loans were going to be a HUGE problem and he did nothing. The trade deficit with China in 2000 was -83 MILLION and at the end of Bush's term it was - 266.3 BILLION. Nothing even started by Bush in the way of alternative energy or any other Republican. Ok. this being public information where do you Republicans get that new grape juice that suddenly makes you so smart. I am not a Democratic, but a smart ex-republican who is now independent.
