On other forums, I had asked hardcore Christians to produce the Hadith and also sayings of Khomeini, in Arabic and Persian but not a single Christian could do that. In the case of Islam, everything is available for reading in Arabic, while Christianity has nothing at all available, not even the 20th copy of the various original. I was reading various translations of various versions and behold! No one knows from which alleged manuscripts, each group of translators is translating from. Good point. Good question and I think, I had answered a similar question somewhere but I can't remember. To me, it means Noah's message remained with the people for 950 years after which the generations started forgetting and ignoring Noahide Laws, etc. For example, we can say that Moses' message still lasts today and his people are still following what he was given by God. So, we can say that Moses has lived with his people for 3,500 years and continues to do so. I don't think Noah was 950 years old.
