First off. I work and pay for health insurance but very rarely use it. Can you justify humana gold paying 2,000$ a month of taxpayer money for one mans pain mess because the drug companies want release the patents to our gov't so they can make the drugs and send it to people and save taxpayers major cheese... or how about valley hosp in chart charging my father 47,000$ well charging humana hold that much, for 7 days when someone's trying to get off those pain med s and one of the orderlys tellin me when i asked why it was so much that they charge whatever the insurance will pay. The betty ford center charges around that much and you sleeping on silk sheets and eating steak.. that's the kinda stuffed talkin about... not somebody that's gettin what due to them (Sunday May 12 | post #19)

Control is the key word.. and obamacare comes to mind. Forcing everyone to have insurance and fineing you if you don't. That definition of socialism that you copy and pasted, just as I copied and pasted, is the actual definition of socialism and the taking control of private businesses will come soon. As soon as he gets all the right legislation n place. Jeeeez, which will happen in the next three years or so unless he gets somebody else in his administration to run in the next election or he finds another end around the ""laws of OUR land" and runs and gets elected again. For millions of other people, however, water is much scarcer. New technologies and global charities have been tackling the problem, sometimes in dramatic ways, with varied degrees of success. The stakes are huge. Growing cities are putting new pressures on water basins – water use has tripled over the past 50 years, according to the United Nations – and massive cross-border water projects like dams are turning up preexisting tensions. The social and ecological threats have become “dire,” according to a new U.N. study issued this week that synthesizes the findings of 90 scientists who looked at 200 water projects around the world. Afghan President Hamid Karzai says he has received assurances from the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency's station chief in Kabul that it will continue delivering cash, as it has for the past decade, to his offices.
