Charles Taze Russell Ask any witness who cmes to your door who this man is and how he could have predicted the second coming or Christ in 1874 and why he said in 1914 the world would end? Ask them how come the date keept getting pushed back and no one said a thing? I do not hate Jehovahs witness but they seem to like talkign about the bible but hwne you quote it they say that is not in their bible and do not want to listen to you. I worked with them and after while they refused to even talk to me becuase they could not win the argument and yesI let them finish every time. I Was not extended that courtesy. They finally stopped knocking on my door when I kept asking them about Charles T Russel. In their defense though they do more witnessing than most people and yes the bible does say we should do that. Well it is because John the baptist was beheaded at a birthday so they do not celebrate it at all and they do not acknowledge Jesus born on Christmas day. I got into an argument with several Jehovahs witness because we used to get a holiday turkey with our bonus checks where I worked. I saw them all refuse to take the turkey but took the money with glee. I asked one of them why they do not refuse the money? His answer was God wants us to feed our family, then feed them the turkey I said. I asked him if he was coming to work at regular pay over the CHRISTMAS shutdown since he did not believe in it. He got angry and would not answer me. Why will they pick and chose when and where the belief kicks in. HE also agrued that the holiday pay is a working bonus not Christmas bonus; but when you look at the announcment the paper clearly said Christmas bonus checks; which the Jehovahs witness gladly took. Can someone answer me why no one at least I never heard of any Jehovahs witness refusing holiday pay and aksig to be paid regular time for working all day on Thanksgiving or Chirstmas? WHy is it when money is waved around the rules are "bent" ? Also the best wayI found to shut up any witness is to ask what happened to the founder or the witness order? Did he not die in his mansion waiting for the second coming which only God in Heaven knows about but somehow he knew and had hordes of people waiting for the day and it came and went, he passed away in his mansion and noone said a word. Yes God creates us all and it is US not God who choses to sin. Did you always obey your mom and dad? Did you ever so something you would not do in front of them or have recorded and played back to yur whole family. We all sin, all of us even the holiest of people stumble. There are heros of the bible who made some huge mistakes but they repented and came back to God. I do not feel hating a homosexual is right; I feel we need to find out what exactely is the reason for it though. It is like hating someone for being black, asian or whatever. I personally feel it is some kind of imbalance in the brain or demons. It is not natural to do what two alternative people do to each other. Do you shove thing in your back door for fun? If it is okay then why can't two homosexuals have kids on theri own; and please spare me the "can two heteros have kids on their own of their is a medical condition speech" That is because their is something medically wrong with them not because it is just not naturally possible. If I take an electrical socket and chop off the female end and soder another male end on it can you produce me elctricity? It is not right to use the slang terms for homosexuals or attack the mwith hatred,; someone else did that, Hitler, maybe your heard of him. We need to round up all the gangbangers and put them all i na stadium and sell tickets. Let them have all the guns they want and they can shoot each other to kingdom come. It is ingnorant to run with a gang and give yourself clever names like Killa and stuffI would not even think of spelling. Why fight someone over a street or some drugs? If you want to be in a group that bad go join the service, you are never going to be rich by running around shooting at people and hitting innocent kids in their rooms. Good answer, that shows you have a big heart. I am a Christian and someone asked me that same question once and I had to think about it. I told them that I could not hate anyone especially my kids and if one of them were to tell me they were gay I would pray for them. I agree just because a person has a certain sexual preference does not mean they will harm a child unless of course they like little children for the wrong reasons. I was wondering if I may ask what you would say to your son or daughter if they told you they were gay? Would you accept it or would it bother you a little bit? I know you would still ove them, what parent could hate their kids for any reason. I do not think any person with an alternative lifestyle should not be attacked with hate. If they are doing things to each other in your living room while your kids watch then get mad but if not let them deal with the consequences when their final judgement comes.
