go for it there are girls at my dance school who have just started and their in 6th form!! so 17-18!! i am 14 on monday and i started when i was 13 in march!being flexable helps but it will take mabey a year or more before pointe!:( you will be with younger childre unless their is a adult or teenag class please start or you will make me fell like i shouldnt! where could i get some full sole satin ballet shoes and ribbons?
for my birthday i need a new pair f ballet shoes i would like a satin pair i need to have ribbons so i cant have the elastics sewen on i am size 4 in trainers and things and size six in freed accolade ballet shoes will other brands be the same size ? where can i get them from thankyou!!! oh and do other people break up for summer holidays at there ballet studios or is it just mine?! i wish they didnt (Jul 11, 2008 | post #1)

that is what you do when streaching i tink very usefull though i might try that but you need to warm up first like make your body hot so you mussels are streacher like an elastic band if you freeze it then streache it it will snap same with mussels (Jun 8, 2008 | post #4)
you could go for a run for about 5 mins up and down th street witch is a bit embarasing??you could do star jumps or dance for about4 songs. lots of people say to take a hot bath or shower but that dosnt work for me as it dsnt warm my mussels up i usually do running as it works well you could alos do jumping on a trampaleine if you have one it works brilliant. good luck (Jun 8, 2008 | post #2)

i have to wear a blue leotard pink tights blue skirt(not a tutu)and pink leater ballet shoes with ribbons . my studio is nt to stricke though if you forget your shoes or tight or skirt they will let you off and you dont have to have your hair in a bunas long as it is out of your face i think they rae more stricked in the roayal ballet and other places and when you get in to higher grades i hope you liked your lessons what do you wear then? there is a new episode of the simpsons called smoke on the daughter witch i basically about lisa becaoming a ballet dancer to find out that second hand smok improves her proformance and the other girls smoke to do so. i made me think does any one do any thing to improve there proformance i would personally never smoke or take drugs but like eat a cirtain type of food or drink?? well you are definatly very lucky im so happy for you i can remeber my first lesson i was so excited!! then i arvived there and didnt know where to go!!!! i was so nevous ahhhhh and i didnt have the uniform as you didn thave to wear it for the fist to lessons i fet so out of place beung the only one with out a uniform and being twice their height!!! as soon as i got the uniform thing got better then a few weeks later and girl i used to know came!! i could tell she was nevous so i talked to her and we are great mates now!! we even both got invited o grade 3 in september but she cant go because its on a friday :( so i will be a larry again but hopfully i will be with older girls!! you are going to be fine though because you have the kit and you will be with peopel your age so they wont all stare at you good luck keep posting (May 31, 2008 | post #18)

get leather ones they last longer it dosnt really matter with ballet shoes but if you get split sole canvas they should be good i have freed accord witch are full sole because they fell more like a pointe shoe but its different for a man mine cost about £13 plus ribbons which you dont need (May 28, 2008 | post #11)
