If the National agreements where to come to a vote and ALL LOCALS VOTED THE SAME DAY we would not be in this mess. Right now we have a local votes today another the next day somebody else the day after that and so on and so on. If it looks like the deal is going down in flames back room deals are made with the locals that have not yet voted so as to help the new agreement pass. Good to hear from you as well. Do you not just love people who don't know how hard we work say it's easy. They see a 15 sec. spot on TV & say we are over paid then if they do get a job working in a car plant they quit very soon after they start. They say where are the easy jobs? Why can't I do that job? They don't think that the person on that job has pad there dues they have 10/15/ or more years in a body that is shot. You have your head up your AZZ back in 2007 we had base pay/C.O.L.A./ & 5% if you worked nights. If you don't have C.O.L.A. & you have not had a pay raise since 2007 your pay has gone down for EVERYTHING AND I MEAN EVERYTHING COST MORE TODAY THEN BACK IN 2007. If you think pay should be cut then I think you should be paid the min.wage from the year 1984. (Mar 19, 2013 | post #35)
