Republicans the party of LIARS

Maybe you should ask horse-face Debbie Wasserman-Schulz, Karlew. She has them, too. So does John Kerry. Wait, so does Nancy Peosi's husband and her brother, too. Did you hear that Obama is not attending the NAACP Convention? Guess he figures he doesn't HAVE to. Now there's commitment. He is sending Biden in his place. Could he give blacks a bigger insult? Then again, maybe Biden can do some hilarious impersonations of minorities like he did in New England. Now that I think about it, the NAACP got lucky after all. Laughing at old Joe, Democrat-MBNA Banks, is better than being talked down to by Bam-Bam. LOL!  (Jul 12, 2012 | post #5273)

Supreme Court upholds Health Care

LOL! Having healthcare insurance is responsible. And it is not a law. You can opt out very cheaply. A gov't that breaks the back of the country's finances by mandating that redistribution of wealth from the middle class pay for the bulk of it with no cost controls is not a solution. You know that.  (Jul 6, 2012 | post #113)

Now, just to show how fair and open-minded I am, I will give you a chance to show me you use yur gray matter more than your mouth, Karlew. You stated that there wasn't a viable candidate in the Republican lineup. Can you tell us what made Obama "viable" in 2008 compared to even one of the much more experienced Republican candidates? Let's see, business success? Nope. Political chops? Nope. A cohesive plan for the economy? Uh,uh. Maybe we should ask Hillary? LOL! I'll wait, Karlew.  (Jul 6, 2012 | post #5107)

Just to cheer you up a little more, Karlew, from BusinessInsider.co m Obama Is Losing A Stunning Amount Of African-American Support In North Carolina Brett LoGiurato|Jun. 12, 2012, 2:16 PM|193,259|202 "President Barack Obama is rapidly losing support among African-American voters in North Carolina, a new poll out today from the Democratic-leaning Public Policy Polling shows." Romney is up by 3% after being down by 13% within the last two months. That's a swing state Obama needs. And 47% polled say that Obama is "extreme ", and Romney only 31% think so. Even if Obama squaks by, once folks start seeing how ObamaCare is going to bankrupt the middle class and states they will vote for the most far-rightie they can find in 2016! So, can we count on your vote for Romney, Karlew? Resistance is futile. LOL!  (Jul 6, 2012 | post #5105)

I always know I can count on old Karlew/Execrate for a chuckle. Kerry has a Swiss bank account or 30, Big K. So do other richest members of Congress, and seven of the top ten there are DEMOCRATS. And tax evasion accusations hardly mean anything coming from the party of Geithner, Rangel, Franken, Daschle, well, you know, those DEMOCRATS, 41 of them, who owe almost a TRILLION in back taxes? And the icing on the proverbial slap, Karlew? George Clooney is going to head a SWISS FUNDRAISER for OweBama! I guess he wants some of that Swiss money he didn't EARN! Oh, man, LMFAO!  (Jul 6, 2012 | post #5104)

Too bad we don't have campaigns that are funded only with an equal amount of public dollars. These campaigns do not encourage our best and brightest to leadership.  (Jun 29, 2012 | post #812)

You might have been correct IF the law had been overturned. But I think ruling swung the pendulum away from Obama a bit with independents and blue-dog Dems. We'll see.  (Jun 29, 2012 | post #809)

Not entirely. By changing the mandate to a tax the commerce clause was not quite bastardized. Close, though. And Ginsberg's statement after the ruling WAS scary. She complained that the law should have been constitutional without changing the mandate to a tax, and that it set the commerce clause interpretation "awry". But that that would be "taken care very soon". :(  (Jun 29, 2012 | post #806)

The definition of judicial activism is legislating from the bench. Since the two major proponents of this law, the mandate and Medicaid coercion issue with the states, were both rewritten by the court then yes, by definition Roberts was an activist judge. I have no idea why- but whether it was to the benefit or detriment of Obama, as scuttlebutt has it, it was not the job of the SCOTUS to MAKE the law constitutional, that is the job of the legislators. It is not new- but it is wrong.  (Jun 29, 2012 | post #803)

Drops in the bucket. After 13 months of letting Congressional Dems throw their ideology around in this huge mess that intrinsically changes our country, Obama said we 'had talked about it enough". No, we hadn't talked about it nearly enough. Experts on the right and the left HATE this plan, for some different reasons and for some of the same reasons. It is a bad law. It does not do what it is purported to do. If it did it would be popular because most people favor some kind of reform. We are all subject to the same insurance and healthcare issues, you know.  (Jun 29, 2012 | post #796)

See, that's the beauty of all this overreaching the Dems have done since Obama was elected. Details? We don't need no stinking details. What OweBlama has done is enough to make voters want to undo it without a plan! LOL!  (Jun 29, 2012 | post #792)

Labor unions continued to receive the overwhelming majority of waivers from the president’s health care reform law since the Obama administration tightened application rules last summer. Documents released in a classic Friday afternoon news dump show that labor unions representing 543,812 workers received waivers from President Barack Obama‘s signature legislation since June 17, 2011. By contrast, private employers with a total of 69,813 employees, many of whom work for small businesses, were granted waivers. The Department of Health and Human Services revised the rules governing applications for health reform waivers June 17, 2011, amid a steady stream of controversial news reports, including The Daily Caller’s story that nearly 20 percent of last May’s waivers went to businesses in House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s district in California. The labor unions receiving waivers include those that are monitored under the 1947 Taft-Hartley Act, and those that are not. The waivers granted since June 17 are valid until 2013, but recipients must make sure their employees understand the “limits of their coverage,” according to HHS documents. HHS granted waivers on a year-by-year basis under its initial application process, but waivers granted after June 17 are valid for a maximum of two-and-a-half years. (RELATED: Full coverage of the health care law) By and large, unions backed the health care overhaul, a law from which nearly a half million of their workers are now exempt. Poll: Obama attacks working

Boy, are you dumb. Not only is everything you said Rah Rah partisan hack unsupported rhetoric, but if you are too stupid to understand that low gas prices equate to a soft/poor economy, then why would you think anyone would believe a word you and your butt-buddy OweBlowMe have to say?  (Jun 28, 2012 | post #177)
