The tobacco trial was a farce, the tobacco companies were guilty before the trial started. The tobacco companies were not allowed to give any evidence in their favor. As far as your side goes, talk about lies. Every thing they say is a lie. How can one thing be the cause of every disease. Just look around here in Topix and see there is a new article almost every week of smoking causing some thing else. Why wasn't all this around when I grew up when almost all smoked. How in the hell does smokers hold all the longevity records if smoking is so deadly. How come 2/3 of all cancer deaths are non smokers. Smoking bans are here to destroy private property rights and they have done a very good job at it. It is ignorant people like you who are helping destroy this country. This country will fall very shortly, maybe before the end of the year. Hope you like a government run by the UN with no constitution. The constitution is just about gone now. The government no longer follows it. That means you no longer have any rights.  (Yesterday | post #50)

The drug companies who push the bans Make a lot more than the tobacco companies. The drug companies are make well over a trillion dollars a year, could be over 2 trillion already. Tobacco companies do not make any where near that. It the drug companies who profit off the bans, its the government who profits off the loss of our private property rights do to smoking bans. Smoking bans have destroyed private property rights which the constitution is based on. So when they pull you over and search and seize your car for no reason or with no warrant, just think to your self that this is what I wanted. They can also now do your home the same way. They can arrest you for no reason and with out a warrant and hold as long as they like. They can and do listen to your phone calls and read your emails. No warrants needed. This is some of what smoking bans have helped do for our country. Smoking bans cause hate, crime, loss of business, loss of jobs, loss of private property rights, Kids being able to buy cigarettes at any age, more bans and high taxes.  (Sunday Nov 8 | post #719)

look at the number of posts I have made. I have post many many links. You people do not look at them. I have had you people tell to post a link and right there in the reply is the link. So what link would you like to see. Maybe the one where a car puts out 7.7 tons of pollution a year and there are 214 million cars on the road. #00 million people in this country. Do the math and you will find each and every person in this country gets to breath 33 pounds of pollution a day or 6 tons a year. I will relax when we get our country back. I see people like you do not care if the government regulates your life. They do regulate every thing. They regulate all business, how you raise your kids, what your kids learn in school, the food , the water, what kind of sex you can have and then taxing almost every thing, soon every thing will be taxed. The climate bill will tax every thing or cause prices to go up on most every thing. The healthcare will take a big bite out of your income and you will have no choice. You have to get the government permission to drive, to get married to hunt,to build a house to start a business, to get a divorce, to have a peaceful assembly, to own a gun, to have a job, the list goes on and on. Must be awful to go every where and have smokers walking around just to blow smoke in your face. Of course one car put out what it would take millions of smokers all at the same time at the same place to put out. You breath at least 33 pounds of pollution from cars a day or 6 tons a year. Car exhaust can kill in minutes. You right I am also tired of breathing all the crap from cars, 300 million people spraying poison.s every day,all the toxic cleaning chemicals. We need to outlaw every thing harmful. Wait that is every thing. The air water, food are all harmful. Cell phones are now known to cause cancer, Outlaw them or tax the hell out of them. Video games are harmful to kids, outlaw them or tax the hell out of them. Wait Obama is going to do just that. He is going to tax every thing you spend money on. When he gets thur taxing every thing, that should leave you with about 10% of your income, no money to buy harmful stuff.  (Friday Nov 6 | post #685)
