Time will tell if we should have offered more to Baron. I'll miss him but I don't think we should have matched what the Clippy's offered him. Congrats Baron! (Monday Oct 6 | post #3)

Flying the friendly skies, Warriors style
Jackson made the top 5 sports moments on TV last night with his wish over a jet's PA system for the passengers to have a pleasant flight to Oakland County (he meant Orange County). He had a quick recovery though, announcing "That's why I play basketball!". (Tuesday Sep 23 | post #1)

I'm kinda wondering how many heartbeats McCain has left, but here's a good VP joke: Once there were two siblings. One joined the navy and was lost at sea. The other went into politics and became Vice President of the United States. Neither one was EVER SEEN OR HEARD FROM AGAIN!!! (Friday Sep 12 | post #29)

Ellis has some explaining to do to Warriors
It's not about money. It's about getting your top players to agree not do anything stupid that puts the future of the franchise at risk. That's why what I like to call stupidity clauses are written into those contracts. I don't know whether Monta violated any terms of his contract, but him in rehab until Dec/Jan has hurt the franchise. I hope the others can step up, it was going to be a rough road with a healthy Monta anyway, but they didn't need this extra hurdle. Personally, I'm more interested in how he got busted up than what (penalty/fine/renegotiation) happens with Monta's contract. Again, we've all seen his high flying antics at the Roaracle. I really want to know what the heck happened! (Sep 5, 2008 | post #5)
Ellis has some explaining to do to Warriors
Of course they're allowed to "practice their game" in the off season. But what was he doing to cause that kind of injury and the later reported "scrapes and bruises". We've all seen his high flying antics at the Roaracle. This doesn't sound like a game of pick up with the homies. (Sep 4, 2008 | post #3)
