It will never happen. In Arnold, that is a lot of taxes that the City gets. I don't think that they will be willing to give that up even though we have a fog around here from all of the smoke. Did you guys/gals see the soccer/baseball fields along I-55 by the river? The water is almost over the shelter in the back. On the other side it is up pretty high, too. sbt...whatever, it was a legitimate question. If you know the people you are with are causing trouble, why stay around and be associated with that? It is common sense to most of us. Adam, I do commend your courage in coming forth with your story and applaud you. I hope that you have a long military career and would thank you for considering putting your life on the line to defend our freedom. I just had to ask the question. Vinny, I would agree with you, the judge will ask the needed questions and determine the appropriate punishment. I know that we (and yes, including me, sbt) have made mistakes in the past...not as big as this, but mistakes none the less. I remember those days. Dave, I would suggest that for nail pops that he builder has to have fixed to take post-it notes and put them over the nail pops as you see them. That way you won't miss to many and the drywaller will know which ones have been hit and which ones have been missed. It makes it go much faster. As for the foreclosure stuff, I think the banks got themselves into a real pickle by loaning money to people that they knew couldn't afford it. I think that the banks are partly to blame as are the consumers who took the loans not figuring out if they could really afford the payment. (Jun 12, 2008 | post #8)

Disgusted, I think every town has people like the "Goehrings " that you are talking about. I have friends that live in Washington, Missouri, and that town is the same way. You have the people that run the town and then you have the innocent bystandards that get screwed over because of it. You have the people that are shunned because they aren't in the "clique" and even though they are the ones that are in the right, the "clique" will screw them over. (Jun 9, 2008 | post #148)
