LOL! I love it when people adopt names of folks and then write absurd posts in their name!! How funny, "blame it on the meth not the boys "! Stop, you slay me! (Oct 30, 2010 | post #4)
So we Terry Goddard who supports the illegal invasion, or Jan Brewer who votes for it when she realizes 70% of Arizonans support it. Go Jan. Explain to me, pray, how Goddard being a true believer in the status quo -- or even worse yet, "comprehensiv e immigration reform/amnesty -- is sopposed to make anyone want to vote FOR him? (Oct 20, 2010 | post #148)
You mean like when as AG he interpreted the law against welfare for illegals to mean that we had to accept church records and personal testimony as proof of citizenship? If we elect Dems we might as well move to Mexico, because Mexico's worst will be here. We LOVE legal immigrants but the liberal sell-out of America under the guise of openness has to stop. And the Wall Street Republicans who assist it to increase profits on the backs of taxpayers must be beaten in the primaries. Arizona blew THAT when it nominated McCain. (Oct 19, 2010 | post #127)
If Petsmart can't learn from the Staples/OfficeMax debacle (how could they not? They're in the exact same space!) then they must have more money than sense. Grand Opening, Grand Closing. I bet they get stimulus funds for this idiocy... (Oct 18, 2010 | post #2)
Rotellini is the best candidate the Dems have got. Unfortunately for them, Obama has fulfilled the old saw, "You have to elect a Democrat every now and then to remember why you don't vote for them." My advice to Dems as they sit at home alone on the night of Nov. 2nd pondering a huge Republican sweep: 1) Study economics enough to learn that Socialism is a loser - it only worked in Europe as long as the US could bail them out. If you don't understand and appreciate the free market and capitalism YOU are the radical. 2). Ask yourself why all your ideas involve taking money from someone and giving it to someone else. If YOU want to do "good" do it with your own money - you'll find it goes a lot farther when it doesn't have to pay for a grant writer, program administrator, and a bevy of lobbyists to advocate for its extension long after it's outlived its usefulness. 3). Learn what "illegal " means, as in "illegal immigration." When you call 70% of Arizonans racist for trying to stop ILLEGAL immigration, you deserve to have your heads handed to you on a plate. Many kind regards. (Oct 18, 2010 | post #11)
Ditto. Anyone who would vote to give the Dems another vote in the Senate (or House) just doesn't have a clue. McCain/Feingold, McCain/Lieberman, and McCain/Kennedy only got him praise from the press for stabbing Repubs in the back, then after the press anointed him as the nominee they dumped him for (Mo' taxes, Mo' spending) MOBama. (Oct 18, 2010 | post #34)
The Dems on the commission with RINO Wong have already added $9 a month to every utility bill in AZ to help the snakeoil solar and wind folks build their plants with OUR money, and then written the law to require us to buy it at higher rates. To add insult to injury, we'll have to pay to dismantle these eyesores when they go belly up -- as soon as the federal and state subsidies run out. Dems don't understand business -- they think if you pay $100 for something that costs $10 that you create jobs. Vote Pierce and Burns. (Oct 18, 2010 | post #20)
Anyone who claims to be voting for Goddard because Brewer raised taxes seems to be forgetting two things: 1) The PEOPLE voted (rightly or wrongly -- wrongly IMHO) 2). Goddard will raise taxes AND spending. Libs can't be libs without spending other people's money. Personally, any other Republican candidate in the primary was better, but 1070 guaranteed she would win. She jumped in front of the parade at just the right time. (Oct 18, 2010 | post #106)
FWIW, it's "WHOM do you support". And Gould a loser? Watch him trounce his opponent, and be a real contender for national office in the next decade, if he wants it. Gould supports his constituents, and will talk to them on the phone. He also supports his party. (Oct 18, 2010 | post #4)
No disrespect intended to the Gov, but to me it'll be just the Pat Tillman bridge. (Oct 14, 2010 | post #1)
Ah, the high school. The good people of Arizona can always be counted on to give money for kids and education, but administrators can always find new and innovative ways to waste it. They won't finish it because with declining enrollment (fewer illegals and more parents realizing online school is just as good and without the negative socialization) they won't have the money to pay any teachers. I think with 1070 the population curve in Arizona remains flat -- except for retirees fleeing California. (Oct 5, 2010 | post #4)
I am against smoking it, but think it's a moral issue--not a legal one. Plus, we could put the crimp on street gangs while supporting home horticulture. (Sep 30, 2010 | post #12)
Easy answer, IB: The people affected are all too busy working to raise the money to pay for all the governmental waste! (Aug 14, 2010 | post #2)
FYI, it's "You're" -- while you brush up on your grammar, look up and ponder the word "irony". (Aug 13, 2010 | post #86)
This will make your blood boil: The "errors" are frequently cited by the traitors as an excuse NOT to require the system, while I'd say 99% of those errors represent an ILLEGAL ALIEN perpetrating IDENTITY THEFT. (Jun 17, 2008 | post #433)
