Major Online Retailer Offers Products With Veiled Threats Again...
Truth, we rarely agree, but that was a dead-on post. I know you find it hard to believe, but Bush/Cheney lost alot of us conservatives in March '03. We knew where the real enemy was, and Iraq was a a bogus stunt. All it's done is creat a vacuum in that region, and emboldened Iran. The no-fly zones had Hussein pretty much contained, and his bellicose stance on everything kept a balance with Iran. Bush (well, really Cheney, who I think was really in charge) dropped the ball big time. (Yesterday | post #343)

United Nations peacekeepers sought for Juarez: 2 groups say aid...
How about moving the UN to Juarez! Let them deal with all the unpaid parking tickets! (Friday Dec 11 | post #74)
The honest answer, as to why there wasn't alot of complaining: The economy was relatively sound, unemployment was low. But if you read REAL conservative economists, Thomas Sowell being the most prominent, you'd see that true fiscal conservatives were touting the Bush spending as a looming disaster. And people like Sowell were pushed to the background, as the Neocons you love to hate, were in control, and feeding everything through the Rush/Hannity crowd. And that crowd, lets ideology trump reason. I personally didn't like McCain either, and have been told I "wasted" my vote by pulling the lever for Bob Barr, the Libertarian candidate. But to me, voting for McCain would have been voting for Bush again. With Barbie next in line to the throne! No way! Couldn't do it. I'm all for tax cuts, but you can't cut off tax revenue without corresponding spending cuts. That's Bush's failed economic legacy. And I fear President Obama is making the same mistakes. SC gov dodges impeachment, lawmakers push rebuke
We are in 100% agreement on that! I'm sick of these clowns in Congress flaunting their unethical (and occasionally criminal) behavior, and then they end up on Oprah's couch, whining about their sex/drug/whatever addiction. Time to start dismissing these jokers...and indicting them, if need be! (Friday Dec 11 | post #20)
Why do you find it so hard to believe that many of us conservatives were equally dismayed by Bush's over-the-top spending as we are with Obama's? We're not all foaming at the mouth, right-to-life psychos, ya know? (Friday Dec 11 | post #10)

Dems to lift debt ceiling by $1.8 trillion, fear 2010 backlash
I hate saying it, but it may have to come to that! They're all completely out of control. And it isn't a Rep/Dem thing, either. It's all of them! (Friday Dec 11 | post #71)
SC gov dodges impeachment, lawmakers push rebuke
Why does it always have to be about Republican and Democrat? A piece of sh*t is a piece of sh*t, period. I don't care what party he belongs to, this clown should finally do something honorable, and resign. (Friday Dec 11 | post #18)
Dems to lift debt ceiling by $1.8 trillion, fear 2010 backlash
Neither party seems interested in stopping the overspending. They're addicts. Sad to say, the only way out of all this debt is going to be a tax hike, for all of us, rich and poor, liberal and conservative(One still must hope that they then use the subsequent revenue to actually pay down the debt). There's no other way to stop the free fall. We can blame Obama, Bush, and Congress for this mess. And then blame ourselves for putting them there. (Friday Dec 11 | post #67)
