i agree. i haven't lived in marble hill for a very long time but i spread matt's picture all over facebook here, in st louis, just in case. i had a really good friend of mine go missing in november 2010. there's nothing worse than not knowing!! everyone that had something disrespectful to say? you should be ASHAMED of yourself. you have NO idea the pain and plain heartache you go through when someone you love is missing. None. Or you wouldn't have said a god damn thing in the first place. My friend, Jj Willman, and a kid, that grew up in Marble Hill just like you and me, Matt Willmirth, passed away. Only we didn't know. We didn't know until someone confirmed it. how would you feel? ask yourself that any and everytime you want to say something on a subject you know NOTHING about. Trayvon Martin - Marble Hill, MO

i actually give credit to my blindness to skin color ALL to Marble Hill. i'm biracial, my mom is half italian, my dad is pakistani. born in pakistan. came to the us at 18. woodland was hell for me. everyone's racist, especially since i moved there in '04, 3 years after 9/11. but, when i moved to st louis, i was thrown into an all black school. culture shock! from woodland to a GIANT school with literally 7 kids that were white. what i learned though, was that those 'black kids' were nicer than any of the kids at woodland. ever. even when a girl was threatening me my freshman year, 3 girls from my choir class stood up and told her to back off. skin color DOES NOT matter to me anymore. it's your respect for people and respect for yourself that matters.
