40 xanax/day..I don't think so..I am a pharmacist...
I have watched news anchors, expecially over the Michael Jackson death, latch on to almost any statement that is said, even if it is so very brief, empty and at times inaccurate. Then it's sensationalized for days. They make the startling announcement of something and then when one hears the actual interview or continuation of the story, it's a big nothing. I have to wonder about the sanity of the producers! Really, it would make much more sense to just tell the truth in an intelligent way, "we have nothing to add to the continuing story of....at this time" instead of relying on their phony startle of a headliner! It gets very boring and annoying! So, recently, I've become very picky about who I watch anymore on the news. It's not that I haven't noticed this before, but it has become very noticeable with the MJ case. So, I just wanted to add that - (Jul 10, 2009 | post #5)
NY Congressman Calls Jackson 'Low-Life, Pedophile'
Honestly, this King from NY has a big mouth and what he said was 'vulgar and stupid.' He speaks of bad examples for our children - we only need to look to our politicians, such as himself, to see the terrible examples being set for our children. He should shut up and grow up. He's a sad choice for the people he represents - and if he were representing me I would have something to say directly to him. His employer is after all, his constituents. Why would anyone want a man who speaks ill of the dead, and hurt a family who is grieving over their dead son. It could have been his son! Then how would he feel? I totally disagree with this person (King) on every level. (Jul 6, 2009 | post #44)
