You are correct! Yes booze is promoted, but it is also demoted by MAD and others as destructive. Either way, it is in the open and not promoted as a sub-culture as is pot and others. Chuck: How do you determine the intent of the two parties? One brings his weapon to school, the other leaves it in his car off campus. Chuck: How do you decide which one is armed to do harm and which is armed to go hunting? Common sense. One has a hunting license and hunter safety training. Chuck: Do you decide based upon race? Why would anyone do that? Are you a racist? Chuck: School cannot access the juvenile's criminal offender record. Kid on campus with a gun, school calls authorities that then can do the background. Any kid will be in trouble. If kid does not have a criminal record, he is in less trouble than the kid with the bad- **** MO. Chuck: As it is right now, the school is left to the laws and the rules currently in place. Well then, it is a good thing this is America and the public can change these zero-tolerance rules initiated by zero intelligent morons. But wait, I as a citizen was not asked what I think of them, or was I asked to vote on it. Chuck: If they were to make it up as they go, people (probably you included) would be here screaming that the kid got special treatment because of nepotism, favoritism, the good ol' boy network, or some such thing.
