Pardon me, if I said Europeans hated Mr. Obama I was in error, but I do not think that is what I said because the truth of the matter is that my European friends simply cannot understand how he ever became President. They think he is laughable and mindful of the great Negro comedian Step-N-Fetch-It, their words as his film appearances with Shirley Temple were very popular in Paris. I have seen much of the world, was married to a Swedish national and visited her family with our two children several times, been to Europe on production trips, writing gigs and adventures. Spent a lot of time in the Caribbean diving and photographing professionally, been in Central America several times all when I was writing for magazines so I have seen enough of the world and its' people to appreciate America in a way no rustic ever can. Lowell's cute spellings belong in nursery school where mothers smile and hope their little boys will grow to be men. He has not escaped the potty-training stage and should not be allowed a keyboard. I have here noted many faulted Republican Senators including Arlen Spector, Lindsy Graham, Phil Gramm, Olympia Snow and Susan Collins. Becoming a Republican is not a rite of eternal cleansing or baptism, but there are many more skunks in the Democrat party. You will note that when Lowell criticizes me here he never cites a fact where I have erred as his Democrat attention span is very short. You must have a recall problem to remain Democrat. I recently made an error in a private communication to him saying 90% of the atmosphere was below 5000 feet when it should have been 15,000 to 18,000, but he cannot remember that today. I drew on the principle that air is 100% elastic and given our gravity did a mental calculation estimating 5000 feet should include 90% of the air, but that is wrong. I am not sure why as it should be the case, but is not. More work is needed; I overlooked something, but Lowell has overlooked everything. (1 hr ago | post #69)

Let me remind you that I am and have been a professional writer and investigative journalist trained in science all my working life. I do not "wage war" or profit from hate. Mr. Obama is not interested in peace: He is a Muslim who is angry at white people, and has said so many times. He wants to give our wealth to world that will thank him by making him Emperor, his fantasies are nothing less. Look at what he has done with Affirmative Action. I do not fault his success; it is a fact and admirable, just happening to the wrong guy. Ignorance is our biggest problem as the deceptive forces of darkenss in the form of Democrats are about to give you a world no one deserves. I have been there and lived under their rule as a child when FDR ruled America and store shelves were bare. They will be again and that day is coming soon. You await my death, what an enterprise. What will it net you? Will your life be better when no one asks the questions that should be asked? Tests the ideas that should be tested? Cites the facts that should be known? Phool: I do not remember how many Republicans (note the correct spelling) voted for the repeal of Glass-Steagal (note the correct spelling), but some did and any was too many. I never said that becoming a Republican was an act of purification. They too have their skunks, but not as many as the Democrats. Phil Gramm was first a Ph.D. fool and has become a skunk, but Bill Clinton should have been smart enough to anticipate the outcome. Anyone with an IQ over 80 and fully functioning memory will note that I more often criticize "the elected class" than any other such group including Democrats, but I do find them to be more consistently wrong, arrogant and criminally inclined. Phool: Said brokerages did not write mortgages; they bundled them and issued shares in thousands on each bundle labeling them "Grade A" when they were not. They then insured them with "Credit Default Swaps," which were unfunded guarantees based on faith alone. When crunch came they could only fold leaving a train of zeros where money should have been in reserve. Thus, the collapse. Lowell made money selling property some of which was on such paper and like all such brokers makes money going and coming. My problem with Lowell is that he now trashes the people who are most responsible for his considerable wealth and honors the skunks who built this "joy buzzer" which is about to go off. You will soon see empty store shelves, government checks will not appear and you will sleep at risk as men will be looking for ways to feed their families and women will hear, "I'm hungry mommy," for the first time since the Presidency of FDR. There is no simple answer to that question, but he was the first President to completely command the Fourth Estate. It began when they bowed to his idea that his profound invalidism should be kept secret. And, those close to him gained enormous respect for his amazing efforts to convince American that he could walk, but he took the resulting sympathy and fashioned into the greatest weapon of personal propaganda and power ever seen in history. The war gave him more power as FDR milked the "Don't change the man in the saddle" to the point where you would well be labeled a traitor to have run against him. The infinite power in this formula is one the Democrats sought to repeat in running a Negro. Few dare to criticize Barack Obama for fear of being called racist when they only disagree with his ideas and not his person. He is the least qualified man we have ever had in the office at a time when the country has been rent with partisanship to the point of tearing: Rather than support George W. Bush in what could have been the most brilliant military move since Washington crossed the Delaware they took to nipping at him like a school of Piranhas. Foreigners thought he would be disposed so they would join his effort and the invasion all but failed. We have Democrats to thank. Now they have given us a man who has yet to prove his birth, who knows nothing of economics or military matters. His only talents are those of reading a TelePrompTer and bowing inappropriately. Madam: I am not opposing anything you are saying, but pointing out that while the French family restaurants serve in bowls and one could ostensibly over-indulge the stews and soups they typically serve are not loaded with fat and meat, but have more vegetables and are not so caloric are ours. I believe you can find as many dented cans in Safeway or Brunos as in Grocery Outlet. I have never dined on crow; I leave that to you as you seem to have a taste for it and I am sure with the feathers still on it. I don't think my life has been wasted and no one ever accused me of that until I came here; perhaps they have a point, but I have written several novels and filed two patents, with two more in development, as well as done a lot of other professional writing so it all has not been lost. Nonetheless, you may have a point and I should be in NYC or LA, but my friends there all tell me how much they hate "the city." (Yesterday | post #29)

The home style restaurants in France serve stews and soups that are primarily vegetables and while you may take a lot they are not fattening unless you really pig out. They are also more fun than the fancy places where you get toy food and monumental bills. (Yesterday | post #17)
