Yeah, but it's quite obvious that's what happened. A lot of people find Latin people to be attractive, I think you already knew. This is a topic open for discussion, where ignorant people will be drawn and start making their arguments. You mean you didn't have a slight feeling that someone would make comparisons? What do black men think of black women who wear their hair natural?

I just recently decided I will attempt to no longer perm my hair. I want to accept myself the way my God has made me naturally. The way it was before my mother got it relaxed. I do not want to feel that I am only "beautiful " because I wear a hair texture that is not my own. I want to get to know my unique, natural hair texture. And to all of the black men with nappy hair who prefer long, bone straight and silky hair "shame on you". You should know why I say that.  (Monday Nov 23 | post #263)

Especially people who you've never met ONCE in your life. Why do people act as if Obama is their close relative, or something?!!! I can post "oh, I find Latin men to be attractive", but WHO CARES. There's no point! This is an AA forum! I'm not trying to compare black men to Latin men. Sorry about your dissappointment. I wish that more people could see that sex can only provide us temporary pleasure, and a lifetime of pain. HIV/AIDS and unready parents. That's why people have to continue to pursue sexual pleasure. It's only a temporary fix! The women who used you, who knows what's wrong with them! If they told me about their sexcapades, I'd look at them in DISGUST. It's like people no longer embrace decency. Noone wants to be cautious and modest. People are NO LONGER afraid to hold back their feelings. They feel that everyone must hear them, and they feel that they must act upon their impulses! People are not uncomfortable to share their sexuality with the world! And the music on the radio doesn't help to encourage abstinence and stable, substantial relationships! You probably wanted to get to know these women, and in the process were fooled. They probably played upon your desires, and they probably seen right through you. They used you for your body but wound up harming your soul. You don't deserve that. People like us have to not give them what they want though. They will only lead you to thinking simply. You think for your soul, you don't want it to be torn. I just seriously don't think sex means anything if you don't love the person you're sharing it with. Black Women and Hair Choices

Personally, I believe that Michael Jackson had vitiligo. I don't believe that I have the right to tell anyone with vitiligo whether they should even out their skin or leave it different tones... but anyone who DOES NOT have skin pigment disorders SHOULD NOT use bleaching creams. Definitely. But yes, the excuses are just SO LAME. If black men can go around naturally and still be considered gorgeous, what makes a black woman walking around with her naturally wooly hair so unnattractive? Black hair is UNIQUE. We are the only ones with our hair texture, NATURALLY. SO WHAT if corporate America thinks "that's unprofessional ". SO WHAT if another race of people don't think it's beautiful! If they're RAISED around their own people, it's possible that they'll only be able to find their type of people beautiful! If black women take responsibility to raise their sons in households where the natural black beauty in women is embraced, they'll LOVE black women for their natural beauty. Then the women won't have to complain "Oh Em Gee, he wants me to change everything about myself! He's soooo ungrateful!!! " And not one person better come to me with "oh, it's the father's responsibility too" like someone did in another post. Hello, smart__, if a son came out of the relationship, it could be PRETTY obvious that the black father found a natural black woman beautiful to begin with!  (Sunday Nov 22 | post #125)
