Well the death penalty worked again. Three innocent people were executed without benefit of arrest, charges, trial, conviction or countless appeals, sentence carried out with cruel and unusual punishment. Ms Brown this is for you. My hat off to you. I had a mother (probably a lot like yours) but didn't have the courage you showed. People don't become saints because they couldn't figure out away to get out of dying. They leave scars that can stay with you for a life time. But for some time dulls the memory. 18 years later I still celebrate the anniversay of her death. And it still makes me angry when I have to listen about what a saint she was from people who really didn't know her. Guess they should have started training their children earlier before they were a lost cause. Besides it's not the systems job to make your children behave, it's yours, you had them you're responible for what they do. That's called parenting. Holding taggers liable for damages to be weighed
I don't understand why there is even any debate about this. If my under age child throws a rock through your window I'm expected to replace that window, if my minor child takes my car and wrecks your car I again am responsible to pay the damage, whether I can afford it or not, that is what decent parents do. So what makes this any different. I should not be responsible to pay to clean up after your child. I can't afford it should not be an excuse for not paying the bill. If you work for a living then you cut back somewhere else to pay it and if on welfare you should be informed that you next check will be short the amount of the clean up cost. If you can't pay the rent you just might pay a little more attention to what your chilren are doing. The benifit could just be that parents just might start taking care of their children if they know it will cost them if they don't. Why should my standard of living continue to decline because of the additional taxes I'm forced to pay because you don't know or care what your children are doing? Instead your making the taxpayer responsible for your childrens lack of respect for others. (Monday | post #14)

Why should this even have to be debated? If the kid is a minor the parent or guardian is suppose to be responsible, if their no longer a minor their responsible. Why should the taxpayer be responsible. If my under age child takes my car and runs into someone else I am responsible for the damage or the child throws a rock through your window I get to replace the window. So why should this be any different. If the parent or guardian were doing their job raising their children one of two things would be taken for granted. Either their children would not be spraying others property or they would step foreward and pay for the damage. That's what decent people do. When their not decent you take them to court and require them to pay for their childrens damage even if it means deducting from their next welfare check. If it is understood that their welfare check will be short next month then two things will happen. The tagging will stop or they won't have the rent next month. (Monday | post #1)
Where is all this increase taxing going to stop? The average taxpayer is stuggling to make their mortage payment even if they did buy what they could afford at the time. But inflation, higher taxes, increasing food and gas prices, and lack of increased income to meet the raise in higher prices is forcing people into the proverty bracket. The government just continues to spend and to accommodate their addiction to spending they increase taxes. Something has to give and it looks like it's the taxpayers. Give their standard of living, health (can't afford ins.) and their futures ( nothing left to save). Still the government spends. We have become nothing more than worker bees for the government. Working everyday as the government finds more ways to take what we produce, giving no reguard to how they spend it and then come back to steal more of our lives (in the form of taxes)so they can spend even more. We already pay for more than they deserve. Sex change operations, kidney transplants and HIV drugs. While the taxpayers can't afford the same treatments. This is crazy. No it's not that we haven't hit bottom yet, it's just we have homes we can't sell and we're trapped here like rats. If I could find a buyer for my home I'd be out of here yesterday.
