I am not so sure I can agree with that. A person's ability to do a job should be based on qualifications and performance, not whether they got along with others. Now if the employees who have worked for that person are going to be objective and talk only on the skills needed and not personal issues then I think it is okay, but should not have all the weight in a decision. But I have seen too many examples of where employees bash an individual on everything but the job, which is usually the result of some sort of grudge. Sounds like you don't have faith in the people who are responsible for making the hiring decisions. (Wednesday Nov 25 | post #2)
Additional money helps in fight against gangs
I will take that wager, name the amount. If you believe that there aren't even 5 gangs in Farmington then it is you who knows nothing about Farmington. In fact 40 gangs is probably on the low side. Unfortunately it is people like you who know nothing about gangs so you don't see all the signs that are out there. The only thing you know about them is what you see in the movies or on TV. You are right that Farmington has a meth problem, so who do you think controls the drugs? That would be the gangs. I am sure you have heard about all the violence in Mexico with the drug cartels, who do you think those cartels are sending their drugs to. Or better yet how do you think the drugs get to our communities, magic? You want to know why certain problems, like meth and gangs become so big in communities, is because people like you want to live in denial about them. Drugs and gangs go hand in hand, anyone across the country will tell you that, why do think Farmington would be any different. C'mon man. (Tuesday Nov 24 | post #2)
So you think you can change your name and jump into a conversation and nobody will know? So you must think no women are on this post since you just insulted them all. Let me guess, you're single or gay. (Tuesday Nov 24 | post #18)

First of all, this isn't name calling, it was making the point that although most people have disagreed with you on these posts, Bunit comes in acting like a jack_ _ _ and not helping those of us who were making a "professional " rebuttal. To help you read between the lines, I was hoping Bunit would shut up and stay out of it. The way he was going he was getting you the sympathy vote. (Tuesday Nov 24 | post #105)
Death only leads to more death
I may agree with your statement about profiling to an extent, however, I don't think it is just the actions of few, the crazy ones are becoming more and more. (Monday Nov 23 | post #28)
So your answer is no, you don't have anything of credit. I find it courageous of you to show everyone that you are a narcisistic personality. Since no one else tells you how good you are, you say it yourself. Well as long as you convince yourself then there is at least one person on your side, right? The laughing you actually hear is all those people laughing at you. (Monday Nov 23 | post #16)

Nice job Bunit, you just made PV Grad look good. (Monday Nov 23 | post #97)
I understand that, but the pay is actually different for the practice squad. Practice squad players for this year get $5200.00 per week. (Saturday Nov 21 | post #13)
So do you have anything say to discredit me, or are you one of those people who like to jump into a conversation just to hear yourself talk. So as long as you have knowlede about professional sports that makes you qualified to be a professional athlete? Might want to change your name to just idiot. And no you have not struck a nerve, get over yourself, you're not that good. (Saturday Nov 21 | post #11)
I don't think anyone is saying this town needs a hero, but it is quite incredible for anyone to make it in professional sports, considering the odds. Then take into consideration that Farmington is not a big city where our athletes have the best facilities like the metropolitan areas, it is quite a feat. Obviously you know little to nothing about sports, as players are cut all the time from teams and picked up by others and excel. Also, making the practice squad isn't easy either, if it were we all would be doing considering they make the NFL minimum which is around $70,000. And if you paid attention to football at all you would also know that many players have come from the ranks of the practice squad. You must have struck a nerve, I hardly doubt it, you were just responded to like a common nuisance. You're someone who just shoots their mouth off without thinking. Like a child who engages in teasing, you just want a reaction because you aren't intelligent enough to post anything with any credibility. (Friday Nov 20 | post #5)
FBI investigates nun's death on Navajo Nation
It still amazes me that people like you still exist. Fearful of something because you don't know or understand it, so you attack and blame it with ignorant statements. Based on your comment then you have just justified that it's okay to commit hate crimes. Nice job. (Thursday Nov 19 | post #48)
NM boy tells 911 operator he shot father in anger
that's right 18 & 19 year olds, not 10 year olds. Thinker is correct, the brain is not fully developed until mid 20s, that doesn't mean you aren't accountable for your behavior. And if you think a 10, 12, or even 14 year old have the same ability of understanding, then you need to start thinking and become a thinker. And by the way, you want to know what makes a good soldier, someone who follows orders, doesn't question authority. Too much cognitive ability can get in the way for some. And lastly, please understand that we know far more now on brain development than what we did when it was decided that you had to be at least 18 to enter the armed forces. To correct you, it is not illegal to spank your kids. It is illegal to beat them where you leave marks, bruises, cuts, welts, etc or injure them. AS well as to hit them with a weapon. (Thursday Nov 19 | post #16)

Probable cause and reasonable suspicion are two different things. Also, I am sure you know exactly what was going on with the teacher doing something illegal, since you must have been included in the meetings, they probably even asked for your opinion. And yes teachers can be dishonest but you actually want everyone to believe that as a whole a teachers credibility is less than students. And as far as the missing wallet, you want everyone to believe that there is no possibility that someone could steal something during class Give me a break. I commend you, you obviously aren't a thief. I am not disagreeing with you about teachers can be dishonest and even engage in illegal activity, I think I pointed that out in a previous post. But listen to what you are saying, you are trying to convince everyone that society should have less trust in teachers than students. (Thursday Nov 19 | post #86)
PV students searched for missing wallet allegation
So many teachers having sex with students and getting away with it. How many do you know have gotten away with it, and why do you khow that. What I know is you can't turn the news on without hearing some sort of sexapade a teacher had with a student. In fact look at the young lady in Albuqueruque a few weeks ago. Doesn't look like she is getting away with it. You are one of those who believe what you hear arent' you. If all the students say it is happening it must be true. I agree rules apply to everyone but my point was that each group has different rules to follow. You can preach that they should be the same for both, but that just isn't reality. As a parent, what I am allowed to do is different than my child. Is it impossible that a teacher stole a wallet, no, but what is the liklihood of it being a teacher and not a student. The bottom line in all of this is this, the only mistake the teacher made from what the article said was she didn't notify the proper administration, i am guessing, the principal or vice principal. If she would have done that, then it sounds like the search would have been per p & p. Reasonable suspicion is not hard to meet. In my work experience I know for a fact students have been searched for things exactly like this, the differcence is the proper staff were notified. And maybe a wallet isn't important to you or maybe you haven't ever lost one or been a victim of a crime, but it was important to this student. (Thursday Nov 19 | post #80)
