I never said it wasn't true. I said it wasn't relevant. (Oct 10, 2012 | post #7)
She's bisexual. Nothing ew about it, it's just who she is. (Jun 29, 2012 | post #9)
I'm so disappointed. Not exactly in Johnny, but his choice on the matter. She's 23 years younger than him. She may be a great person, but I think he could do better as far as the age goes. (Jun 29, 2012 | post #1)
I've never heard of him before. I'll have to research. And I have to say, I really loved Gore Verbinsky's work with the first three, and even Rob Marshal did a nice job with the latest. And lol, exactly. Tim Burton is a genius in his own way, but definitely not the right man for this job. (Apr 12, 2012 | post #4)
I actually participated in this as a drama student at Powell! It was a very humbling experience, and I must say, being cut out of the back seat of that mutilated car is not something I would want to experience in reality. Even knowing I was completely okay, the thought of it was frightening. (Apr 11, 2012 | post #1)
I just realized my comment could be taken as rude. I apologize! No offense intended! (Apr 11, 2012 | post #4)
No lol. It's not true. I mean, let's be honest, I'm sure there are several. But the majority of the student body is not on drugs. By any means. If you're wanting to criticize a school for its drug use, try just about any other school in Knox County. (Apr 11, 2012 | post #3)
I've grown up here. I couldn't imagine living anywhere else :) (Apr 11, 2012 | post #6)
Oh, and they also caught the guys who were stealing. They were just some thug sophomores who thought they would teach Anderson County a lesson, but they weren't on the football team. (Apr 11, 2012 | post #3)
I actually go to Powell, and I'm honestly not saying this out of bias, but the reason our head coach went onto the field is because there is some pretty bad history with us and Anderson County. Last year there were some bad calls made on both sides. We beat them, then met them again in playoffs, where they beat us. The game this year was kind of a chance to reflect on the two games last year, and some hard feelings were brought up, and several fights began to break out on the field. The Anderson County players and fans were very aggressive. Most of the student body at Powell was also not pleased with the conduct shown at the end of the game this year, but our coach made an announcement to the school clearing everything up. He made sure we knew that the only reason he sent the players inside was to avoid any more tiffs. At any other game, he was very adamant about teaching sportsmanship to our guys. :) (Apr 11, 2012 | post #2)
It's easy to jest and make fun when it happens to someone other than you or someone you love. I could make a snide comment on the subject of this man's death, but what would that gain me? Absolutely nothing. It would only succeed in disrespecting someone who was once alive, a friend, a family member. Someone who was loved, regardless of his mental stability. There's no use in pointing fingers, either. There's no place to lay the blame for this tragedy. Except for maybe a psychological glitch, which perhaps no one could have helped. The fact that he committed suicide does not mean that he was heartless or selfish. It just means that he probably felt as though he had nothing else to turn to. Which is unbelievably saddening in itself. (Apr 11, 2012 | post #120)
She's a fantastic actress. I know her mostly from her appearances in a few Tim Burton/Johnny Depp films such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Sweeney Todd. But she's also hugely recognized as Bellatrix Lestrange from the Harry Potter series :) (Apr 10, 2012 | post #4)
I'm assuming this was written before the movie was seen. The movie was not a remake. It was an addition and a parody. I think they did a fabulous job with this film. It was meant to be hilarious - it was. It was meant to be a continuation of sorts - it was. I mean, were these cops expected to act exactly like the cast of the original? People change with the times, and that's what they showed in this. Of course, it was to the extreme, and was quite unrealistic at times. But that's where the 'parody' comes in. (Apr 10, 2012 | post #6)
Eh. I don't know about this. While I love Tim Burton and I love his and Johnny's work together, I don't think the Pirate movies are quite his style. I feel as though they would lose their realistic edge with Burton at the helm. But that's just my opinion. (Apr 10, 2012 | post #2)
