It is very much appreciated that the news media are telling the story of people who take a different approach to wellness during this time of swine flu epidemic scare. There is an abundance of information in the media encouraging to take the vaccine, tamiflu and other drugs. There is little news for alternative approaches, yet people are seeking these healthy, natural ways to boost the immune system.

It is surprising that Canada press has posted a this article considering that the government is now trying to condemn the alternatives, or at least lump all alternatives into one negative category.

Although there is information circulating around the internet, it is a poor choice of new media to categorize 'homeopathy' along with taking vinegar as a similar form of treatment. India's government has instituted homeopathy as a specific national form of medicine due to its success. They are continuing scientific research into the best homeopathic remedies to use for swine flu and other influenza.

--Tricia Felber is determined to do whatever she can to protect her two young daughters from the H1N1 flu.

--Her family follows a strict regimen of homeopathic remedies, eats plenty of fruits and vegetables, avoids sugar and strives for a proper night's sleep.

--Felber will not, however, allow her children to be immunized. She has doubts about the H1N1 vaccine's safety and even whether it can fight the flu at all.

Thanks to Tricia for speaking up and telling the world how she is going to care for her family.
