A nurse who assessed a man who died from pneumonia and the H1N1 flu strain says she is certain there was no mention of the patient's breathing at the time of the consultation and he was not short of breath. Hawera's Michael Thompson, 41, died at his home on June 24, 2011, after suffering a week of flu-like symptoms.
