Anheuser-Busch will cut a bottling production line along with 60 jobs at its Newark brewery in an effort to "optimize capabilities" at the facility, the company said Tuesday. The company said officials met with employee representatives Tuesday to outline the move, which it said it is "targeting" for the end of March. Comment?

Miami-Dade resident Francisco Rene Marty alleges the labeling on Beck 's made him think the beer is brewed and imported from Germany, the Miami New Times reports. The label on Beck 's said it is a "product of the USA," but, according to the suit, another part of the label states that the beer is "brewed under the German Purity Law of 1516." Comment?

They call economics the "gloomy science," but the predictions of future economic performance greater Williamsburg business people heard Tuesday were pretty sunny. Unlike the last three years, Roy Pearson, professor emeritus at the Mason School of Business at the College of William and Mary, had some good news when he presented an economic forecast for 2015 at the Williamsburg Economic Development Authority's business round table Tuesday.
