    Volunteers clear trails at Mast Point Dam

    The Mast Point Dam recreation area in Somersworth now has visible trails and a footbridge thanks to volunteers from the Serve with Liberty program. Somersworth Recreation Department Supervisor Kristen Ducharme said it would have taken months to accomplish the work that was done in a day and a half last week by nearly 50 volunteers from Liberty Mutual.

    Cutting the cord on cable

    Fed up with her ever-rising bill, Dena Cutrone canceled cable television more than two years ago and never looked back. Cutrone, 40, who lives in Somersworth with her husband and stepson, subscribed to Netflix for TV shows and movies and also got an Amazon Prime account to stream new releases.
