Or has Facebook head Mark Zuckerberg suddenly championed the Paterson schools, throwing millions their way like he did with Newark a few years back? Maybe it was some forgotten silk baron's will, tied up 87 years in surrogate court and just now released - leaving the Paterson schools a kazillion dollars in cash and bonds? Judging by the way Evans, state-appointed superintendent of Paterson schools, keeps handing out administrative jobs these days to the politically connected, I am left to conclude the district must be flush with cash. Comment?

PATERSON - A 21-year-old city man was shot during a struggle with two would-be robbers who attacked him in Roberto Clemente Park late Thursday, authorities said. PATERSON, NJ [September 15, 2014] - Members of SaxBST, Clifton, New Jersey location - recently visited St. Joseph's Children's Hospital at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey, with fun summer crafts in tow. The group, led by St. Joseph's Healthcare System Board of Trustees member Robert Paz, Co-Managing Partner, SaxBST , arrived with t-shirts, hats and plenty of fabric pants, either working on a project with a patient or making a special gift for a young patient unable to attend the craft event.
