In response to Gov. Brownback's Senate Bill 71 early in the year, Walt Cochran, an Emporia State alumnus and 13-year teacher at Gardner Edgerton High School, wrote an open memo letter expressing his feelings as a teacher in Kansas about the cuts to education. The letter was posted to social media and can be found on Cochran's Facebook page. Comment?
