Geneva Middle School North eighth grader Eliza Peters and her family are in Year 3 of their “Hear the Cheers” fundraiser, which raises money to supply young athletes who require hearing aids modern devices that can be life-changing.

    Geneva 1st Ward aldermanic candidates share concerns

    GENEVA – With longtime 1st Ward Alderman Chuck Brown not seeking re-election this year, two newcomers are vying for a four-year term on the April 7 consolidated election ballot. Patrick Lenski, who is finishing a six-year term on the Geneva Park District Board , will face off against Tara Burghart, a former Associated Press reporter now working part time to be at home for her young daughter.
