    County OKs public hearings on tax code

    At the final Pinellas County Commission meeting of 2014, commissioners will consider two ordinances that would amend the county's tax code. Commissioners approved staff's requests during the Dec. 2 meeting to advertise public hearings scheduled on Tuesday, Dec. 16. One hearing is on a proposed ordinance to amend county code to create an economic development ad valorem tax exemption process.
