Northbound El Camino Real near Selby Lane is closed because a falling tree branch knocked a live wire into the street, Atherton police reported just before noon on Tuesday, Dec. 16. The downed power line is in the crosswalk and is blocking all northbound lanes of El Camino in that northern part of Atherton. A crew from Pacific Gas & Electric is en route to repair the wire and remove it from the roadway, police said. Comment?
