All four promise to continue the battle against high-speed rail, which they're convinced would rip the town apart. Comment?

There's a stark divide between the five candidates running for three seats on the Sequoia Healthcare District as two incumbents seek to continue the work they say benefits the community while three are running on a platform of dissolving the district. The district, formed in 1946 to oversee the construction of Sequoia Hospital, relinquished its control over the hospital in 2007 but continues to collect property tax revenue to fund health care related initiatives in and outside district boundaries. Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg just leaned in to close the sale of her 7-bedroom, 8.5-bath Atherton mansion for $9.25 million-just over $1 million shy of its original asking price of $10.499 million. The house was listed in September 2013 and in March 2014 the price was dropped to $9.8 million. Comment?
