    Parkland goalkeeper Becky Webster has spent a substantial part of her career trying to determine the whereabouts of ubiquitous Whitehall star Kourtney Cunningham, one of the fastest and most prolific goal scorers in the area. Webster unexpectedly found her Thursday night as Parkland and Whitehall were preparing for penalty kicks in the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference girls soccer championship game at J. Birney Crum Stadium.

    The Stroudsburg Mounties field hockey team remained undefeated and advanced to the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference Championship game with a 4-1 win over the Whitehall Zephyrs in an Eastern Pennsylvania Conference semifinal Tuesday night. The Mounties' offense showed their prowess, pressuring the Zephyrs in the first half with 12 shots and nine penalty corners.

    Freedom makes the most of its second chance and gets...

    When you consider that Freedom had put together scoring drives of 93, 95 and 90 yards in the second half of its Eastern Pennsylvania Conference South Division game at Whitehall on Friday night, what's another yard-and-a-half? That's all that was left after a pass interference penalty gave the Patriots a second chance on its two-point conversion attempt in overtime. Freedom coach Jason Roeder could have kicked an extra point, but twice opted to go for two instead and it worked when Joseph Santos found his way into the end zone.
