    'Hounds holding steady

    After defeating Sacred Heart and Kennedy last week, the Greyhounds let one slip through their fingers Monday against Torrington, to hold their record steady at 6-6. The team has played better than .500 ball this season, but some close games have not gone the Greyhounds' way.

    Hupprich no-hits Derby

    When Woodland's Stephanie Kiley threw a no-hitter in a win over Wilby back on April 16 everyone seemed to forget that the then 3-1 Hawks were trying to pick up the pieces after graduating four all-league players. However, head coach Loren Luddy has proven to be a master builder of dynasties at Woodland.
