    Trinity's execution fuels win over Darien

    After Darien tied the game with just over five minutes left Trinity Catholic coach Mike Walsh called a timeout to talk things over with his team. His message was simple and effective as the Crusaders finished the contest on a 14-2 run to come away with a 48-36 victory.

    The executive office suites on the west side of Danbury, home to a number of start-up enterprises in the city, will receive major renovations in the coming months after being added to the Stark Office Suite family. Officials with Stark announced the acquisition of the suites assets and a long term lease of the Danbury property this week.

    Staples boys ice hockey routs Stamford

    Staples-Weston-Shelton boys hockey coach Todd Sharinn wanted a response after team didn't perform up to expectations in a wild 5-4 win over Wilton on Wednesday. Freshman sensation Sam New netted one of his three goals in the opening minute, setting the tone for Staples in a high-scoring 11-5 win over Stamford on Saturday at the Milford Ice Pavilion.

    Westhill holds off Danbury

    With Westhill starting center Brendon Thomas sidelined with a knee injury, forward Tyrell Alexander knew he would have to do a little more work than usual in the paint. Work is exactly what Alexander did, scoring 13 points while collecting 15 rebounds as Westhill held on to beat Danbury 59-54 Friday night.
