    Montgomery rides defense to win over Spring

    Montgomery's defense stepped up when it needed to most, recording key plays in the third and fourth quarters to preserve a 30-26 win over visiting Spring on Friday night at Bear Stadium. Montgomery improved to 3-1 in league play and 6-1 for the season while Spring dropped to 2-2 and 5-2.

    Teen Who Survived Texas Massacre Named To Homecoming...

    The teenage suburban Houston girl who was the only survivor of a shooting rampage at her home this summer has been selected to her high school's homecoming court. Cassidy Stay told Houston television station KTRK that if her mom and dad could have been at the Klein Collins High School football game Friday night in Spring, they would have been cheering her on.
