Jung struck out six batters and walked none in the Brahmas' 10-0, five-inning victory over the Chargers . Marshall senior pitcher Bryan Arias threw a no-hitter against Brennan on Wednesday.

    Brackenridge, Sam Houston triumph in 28-5A meet

    If Sam Houston's Jonathan Challenger proved anything during Thursday's District 28-5A meet, it's he can finish strong. Challenger used huge pushes to win two individual races and anchor a win in the 400 relay on a humid evening at Alamo Stadium.

    Matadors' rally falls short in district loss to Mule...

    Alamo Heights completed a season sweep of the Seguin High School baseball team in District 27-5A play Tuesday night, handing the Matadors an 8-5 loss in a game that was moved to Texas Lutheran's Katt-Isbel Field due to wet conditions at Smokey Joe Williams Field. Seguin trailed 8-3 heading into the bottom of the seventh and had all the makings of a rally in place after singles by Trever Kilcrease and Marcos Villamil, and a two-run double by Travis York to make it an 8-5 game.
