    Hallie Hausman , San Antonio Christian: forward, freshman - Had four goals and an assist, and had a role in the game-winning scores against TMI in the state semifinals and Colleyville Covenant in the state final, as the Lady Lions won the TAPPS Division II state championship. New Braunfels' Brynna Gardener scored two second-half goals in her first varsity game as the Unicorns defeated Judson 3-1.

    Before a goal was scored or a shot was saved, San Antonio Christian girls soccer coach Kara Walters said she felt this year's team had all the makings to be the best of her five-year tenure at the school. Braving below-freezing temperatures, freshman Hallie Hausman scored two second-half goals as the Lady Lions defeated Colleyville Covenant 2-0 in the TAPPS Division II state final at Waco ISD Stadium.
