    Windjammers Annis, Hand, Czuchra nab end-of-season h...

    The Camden Hills ice hockey team enjoyed another stellar season during the 2014-15 campaign, and now three Windjammers have been recognized for their efforts on the ice. Senior James Annis, along with juniors Zach Hand and Nick Czuchra, were honored for outstanding play on Sunday, March 15 at the Maine Western Class B Hockey Banquet in Portland.

    Five-class basketball proposal could change Midcoast...

    High school basketball figures to have a much different look and feel throughout the Pine Tree State for the 2015-16 season and beyond. The Maine Principals' Association is roughly a month from possibly approving a new five-class system for high school basketball, which will bring, in itself, changes to teams statewide, along with Midcoast squads in Knox, Waldo and Lincoln counties.

    Senior right-hander Alexis Bogdanovich allowed only two hits to lead the Maine Black Bears to an 8-0 softball victory over the Yale Bulldogs Tuesday. The Bears used a six-run third inning to put the Bulldogs away early.
