But it wasn't until a few weeks after the Crusaders wrapped up their second consecutive Division 8 state championship that coach Steve Czerwon realized just how spectacular Seymour had been throughout his career.

    Fruitport's girls basketball team bounced back from back-to-back losses to knock off visiting Western Michigan Christian on Monday, 37-26. The Trojans led 15-10 at the half, and the game remained close throughout the third quarter before Fruitport pulled away in the fourth.
