    Williamson drove in the go-ahead run in the sixth and Aspinwall closed the game with two-plus innings of lockdown relief, carrying the Conquerors to a 4-1 win over South Sumter in Monday's Class 4A state semifinal at JetBlue Park in Fort Myers. The Conquerors march on to the final at 7:35 p.m. Tuesday against Fort Myers Bishop Verot, which defeated Miami Gulliver Prep 4-1 in the early semifinal.

    Emergency responders searched through splintered wreckage Monday after a line of tornadoes battered several small communities in Texas and Arkansas, killing at least five people, including a young couple who died trying to shield their daughter from the storm. The couple, both in their late 20s, died when a twister hit their mobile home late Sunday in the Arkansas town of Nashville.
