Congratulations are in order for several local South Bay high school soccer teams that have made it into the playoffs! A total of 251 boys soccer teams were paired into seven tournament brackets, with competition scheduled to get underway with wild-card round matches where necessary Wednesday, February 18. First-round contests will be played in divisions on Friday, February 20, with single-elimination competition leading to the CIF Southern Section-Ford Boys Soccer Championships, presented by Farmers at either Corona High School or Warren High School on either March 6-7.
