    Central loud and clear

    Xaverian has the No.1 ranking, Everett has the lofty reputation and St. John's Prep already has some quality wins under its belt. The Raiders made a loud statement Friday night that the road to the Division 1 state championship still goes through Hampshire Street in Lawrence, throttling previously undefeated Lowell on its home turf, 44-7 while dominating the game on both sides of the ball.
