Here are five things to watch during Friday night's game, which is scheduled to tip off at 7:30 p.m. Heading into the Jan. 23 meeting, Dales and Preston accounted for more than 50 percent of the Irish's offense.

    Friday night's showdown proved to be the perfect ending to a special week for the Kalamazoo Central girls basketball team. After shaking off a sluggish first eight minutes, the Maroon Giants overmatched Gull Lake over the final three quarters en route to a 58-46 win.

    Kalamazoo native Richard Enslen died Tuesday at the age of 83 , but his impact on high school sports across Michigan will be felt for years to come. Enslen, a federal judge for 30 years who retired in 2009, changed the landscape of high school sports in Michigan for the foreseeable future when he ruled against the Michigan High School Athletic Association in a case regarding discrimination against high school female athletes.
