    South Forsyth, West Forsyth sweep Lambert baseball

    South Forsyth and West Forsyth both knocked off the region's top team, Lambert, during a double header Thursday afternoon and evening, which gave the Longhorns their second and third region losses on the season in a span of six hours.     Playoff spots on the line in final week

    Local high school baseball teams are scheduled to complete their regular season schedules this week, with several teams involved in battles for state playoff spots facing a string of games after much of last week's action was rained out. Johns Creek and Chattahoochee are both competing for the fourth and final state playoff spot from Region 6-AAAAAA, and both teams are scheduled to play five region games this week.
