    Swanigan, White Named To IBCA Super 15 All-State Squad

    Fifteen seniors and 15 underclass boys basketball players have earned IBCA/Subway "Supreme 15" All-State honors for 2014-15, it was announced Thursday . In a new level of awards, the IBCA also named 30 Large School All-State players and 30 Small School All-State players .

    Purdue Women's Basketball: Three Future Boilers Name...

    This past weekend the beleaguered women's basketball program received some good news as three of its highly rated incoming freshmen were named to the Indiana All-Star Team: Fourteen players led by Miss Basketball Ali Patberg of Columbus North have been selected for the 2015 IndyStar.com Indiana Girls All-Stars. A 5-10 guard, Patberg received 177 votes in the Miss Basketball balloting to capture the top individual honor for the state's girls basketball players.

    Questions on where the meter money's going

    The City got $12 million for leasing its meters to a private company for 50 years, along with a cut of the revenue. Councilor Zach Adamson says money should go where it's most needed, like along Delaware Street where you "practically fall in a hole to get to the meter."

    2015 Indiana High School Basketball State Tournament...

    While all three of Purdue's official commitments are out of the state tournament, there are a handful of prospects taking part in this weekend's eight semi-state games at four different sites. Caleb Swanigan and Jaren Jackson are the two largest targets still playing, but there are definitely reasons to watch all eight games.

    Experiences abound for longtime athletics director

    From Hinkle Fieldhouse where he took in his first boys basketball state finals, to the Hoosier Dome to Bankers Life Fieldhouse , Kevin Horrigan has witnessed - and helped organize - some of Indiana's most thrilling basketball moments. I saw my first Indiana boys basketball state championship game sitting on the couch and eating Jiffy Pop popcorn with my mom, dad, and grandpa.
