It's been a rough season at times for the defending YAIAA champions, but Spring Grove's 2-0 victory against rival South Western on Thursday leaves the Rockets a half-game up on South Western atop Division I. Spring Grove , which lost all but one starter to graduation, has lost two games by double digits this season. But the Rockets managed to pull out a few close ones, including two this week, and find themselves right back in first place. Comment?

On Thursday afternoon, it didn't seem to matter that the Spring Grove girls' lacrosse team had not won a game this season. The Rockets were playing South Western - a fierce rival - so records would mean nothing. Comment?

Coming into Tuesday's meet, nobody was sure what to make of the Bermudian Springs boys track and field team. A 125-25 win against a young, inexperienced Hanover team on March 24 didn't shine much light of what the Eagles are capable of, and bad weather kept them from competing since then. Comment?

Even with the back-and-forth, flip-flopping, half-spring-half-winter weather wreaking havoc on spring sports scheduling, most sports have managed to get in around five or six games at this point. Below are a few tidbits and storylines that have intrigued us so far this season in the Hanover-Adams area. Comment?
