    Spring football: Gainesville Eastside 6, Land O'Lakes 0

    Spring game-breakers: Both teams played in a defensive battle that lasted almost the entire game until the 2:17 mark of the fourth quarter. That's when Eastside quarterback KJ Minter scored on a 5-yard touchdown run.

    Instead, the Seahawks were given an update by Ross Johnson on the status of his son, Seahawks player Xavier Johnson. Xavier, 16, was placed in a medically-induced coma Sunday night as doctors at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa work to relieve head trauma sustained in a Saturday jet ski accident.
