    BASEBALL: Norco pounds way to Hamilton tourney title

    Still, it's hard for the Cougars not to feel good after the way they swung the bat Tuesday afternoon. Kyle Hatton reached base in all four of his plate appearances, Patrick Keller and Austin Henig each had extra-base hits, and all but one starter reached base for Norco in a 7-3 victory over Fontana Summit the championship game of the Chino High Brian Hamilton Tournament.

    BASEBALL: Summit edges Chino Hills, 3-2

    Fontana Summit senior right-hander Alex Olguin outdueled Chino Hills senior southpaw Bailey Falter in a semifinals showdown Friday, sending the SkyHawks to the championship game of the Chino Tournament. Olguin's two-hitter led to a 3-2 win over the Huskies , whose pitcher, Falter, took a no-hitter into the sixth inning.

    BASEBALL: Norco breaks up no-hitter, gets by Kaiser

    Trevor Thompson broke up a perfect game and scored the decisive run in the fifth, Garrett Irvin pitched six scoreless innings in his first career start, and Norco edged Fontana Kaiser, 3-0, in the quarterfinals of the Brian Hamilton Tournament. "We lost a lot of pop so we know we've got to play the game different," said Thompson, a junior third baseman.
