    The Saginaw Valley State University men's basketball team came up short against #16 Bellarmine University on Saturday night in the GLIAC/GLVC Challenge at SVSU's O'Neill Arena. The Cardinals had three players in double figures and led by two at the half but fell by a final score of 81-71 to the nationally-ranked Knights.

Senior cornerback Raymon Taylor found out his girlfriend was going into labor at 5 a.m., 10 hours before Michigan played the Wildcats in Evanston.
