    Davis scored 37 points, including 14 of 17 free throws, to lead Goodrich to its 81-42 road victory on Tuesday night against Flint Beecher. "I've been coaching girls basketball now for close to 17 years," Beecher coach Leon Gould said, "and I haven't seen one like her.

    Northern Michigan University senior guard Lauren Gruber was named GLIAC North Player of the Week after the Wildcats defeated Saginaw Valley 62-46 and Hillsdale 57-54 on the road. Gruber opened the weekend with a double-double against the Cardinals scoring 17 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.
