If the Wolverines are going to participate in a bowl game, they have to beat Maryland, and not leave it up to winning in Columbus next week, where they should be three-touchdown underdogs. That two-point loss at Rutgers in October, where QB Gary Nova passed like Aaron Rogers, looms large now, and has reduced Michigan's margin for error to its current state. Comment?

The Michigan football team's win over Northwestern on Nov. 1 marked the first time the Wolverines had won consecutive games in more than a year and the defense's best performance of the season, and it brought the team closer to bowl eligibility.
