For half an inning, the Oak Ridge High baseball team was in the driver's seat of Thursday's Sac-Joaquin Section Division I North losers' bracket against Elk Grove at Union Stadium on the Sacramento City College campus. As Trojan teammate Logan Denholm stood on first base after hitting a high-flying base hit into right field in the bottom of the fourth inning, Jake Hathaway smoked a fastball over the left-field fence for a two-run home run and a 2-0 lead.
