    Mavs keep Cavs off balance

    Anderson County took advantage of its scoring opportunities, and the Mavericks' Carson Pack proved to be a tough customer on the mound. A burly right-hander who is a Tennessee commitment, Pack kept Cookeville off balance all night, giving up just three hits in a complete-game effort as Anderson County won 3-1 Tuesday night at CHS.
